The location is not brilliant but very close to the metro station. Many restaurants around the hotel and walking distance to Kurfurstendamm, the area for shopping. The hotel is good for backpackers. The room has a small tv with remote. Breakfast if typical for a budget hotel, at least you wont be starving in the morning. They have hair dryer but have to request to the receptionist. Wifi is good.
If you plan to stay in this hotel, don’t come with a big suitcase. Bring a backpack or small suitcase because the reception is on the 2nd floor and they don’t have lift from the ground floor which is not practical at all. The timber floor makes quacky noise. The pillow and the blanket smell like a man’s aftershave. No comment about the small shower, it’s a budget hotel. When I stayed there all staff are old ladies, they almost don’t speak English, DON'T SMILE or they don’t know how to smile or they are having problem with their smiling nerve and muscle. While having breakfast one staff kept coming to clean the tables and made sigh voice that quite ANNOYING and UNFRIENDLY at all. So if you not care about the service, this hotel is good for you.

The hotel is excellent and straightforward, housed in a lovely Colonial style building. the comfort triple room was appropriate and came with a private bathroom and shower. It is located in a trendy area close to restaurants, public transportation options, and the Sbahn, making it excellent for visiting Savignyplatz.

The location was fine and quite good breakfasts. Spacious room.
Well, the room was cleaned in superficial way. They only did a cosmetic cleaning. Under my bed I've found a layer of dust and huge spider in my room... Staff was kind of friendly when you aked them sth but when I came to eat my breakfast two ladies from the hotel service was backbiting very loudly one guest who took/borrow a plate from canteen. They talk about it as if it was a crime. The worse thing is they did in the presence of other guests! It is unacceptable!

Convenient location, clean, cozy room, excellent bathroom.
Declared Wi-Fi does exist, access to the Internet was only one day, then dubious. At night it is impossible to sleep, at 5 o'clock tingles start steadily, someone screams, rattles and knocks. On the night from Friday to Saturday it started even earlier. bed is comfortable, of course, but I did not fully enjoyed it. If you go back to the hotel in the evening (it is said that the door closes at 23-00, at 22-30 it was already closed) you need to go up the stairs to your floor in total darkness and in the same darkness somehow managed to open the door to the floor key.

That was straightforward hotel set in good area, near to a station and supermarket, the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, which is definitely a place to visit and Kurfürstendamm, which is great for shoppers, and transports. Our experience here was really enjoyable👍

Excellent water pressure in shower. Basic but clean and tidy. Excellent value for money. Very good location. Proprietor spoke a little English. Allowed us to leave our bags. Cake and coffee shop next door. Quiet and safe neighborhood.
There was nothing I didn't like.

Great location with easy access to cafes, restaurants, grocery stores, and the train station. The room was clean and comfortable, with a private bathroom and TV. The bedding, towels, and sheets were changed and cleaned daily. The free high-speed internet was a huge plus, much better than what I've experienced in other hotels. I had a positive experience and would recommend staying at Hotel-Pension Cortina.
